This policy explains how Tiny Pocket Software ("we," "us," "our") handles information in connection with the apps, websites, and services we publish (each, an "App"). It applies to every App that links to this page. If a particular App collects information beyond what's described here, its App Store listing and in-app disclosures will say so.
Our Approach
We build small, focused tools and try to collect as little personal information as possible to make them work. Where an App needs access to something on your device — like your contacts or notifications — that access is requested explicitly through your device's permission system, and is used only for the purpose described at the time of the request.
Information We Collect
Depending on the specific App, we may collect:
- Information you provide directly — such as an email address, if you contact us for support or sign up for updates.
- Device permissions you grant — such as access to contacts, notifications, or similar device data, only where an App's core feature requires it, and only after you approve the request.
- Basic diagnostic and usage data — such as crash reports or app performance data, which may be collected automatically to help us fix bugs and keep an App working reliably.
- Purchase information — if an App offers paid features, payment is handled by a third-party payment processor (such as Apple's App Store or another provider); we do not receive or store your full payment card details.
We do not require you to create an account or provide personal information just to download or try an App.
How We Use Information
- To provide and operate the features of an App.
- To respond to support requests or questions you send us.
- To diagnose problems and improve reliability and performance.
- To meet legal, security, or fraud-prevention obligations.
We do not use the information an App collects to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell personal information.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with:
- Service providers who help us operate an App — for example, a payment processor or crash-reporting service — solely to perform those services on our behalf.
- Legal authorities, if required to comply with a law, regulation, or valid legal process.
Any device data an App accesses (such as contacts or notification content) stays on your device and is processed there unless a specific App's listing states otherwise.
Data Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described above — for example, for as long as you use an App, or as needed to respond to a support request. You can ask us to delete information we hold about you at any time (see Contact, below).
Your Choices
- You can grant or revoke device permissions (contacts, notifications, etc.) at any time in your device's Settings.
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you by contacting us.
- You can uninstall an App at any time, which removes locally stored app data from your device.
Children's Privacy
Our Apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by our Apps. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of an App after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
